Manufacturers Reserve Supply Builds a New 73,000 Square Foot Warehouse
Manufacturers Reserve Supply (“MRS”), in a move designed to meet the growing needs of its customers and suppliers, MRS completed the construction of a new 73,000 square foot warehouse at its Irvington, NJ headquarters location.
The warehouse, built by RC Anderson, was completed on schedule in five months. MRS chose RC Anderson due to their impeccable reputation as one of the three largest builders of Amazon facilities in the country. With inventory scheduled to be moved in this week, the new warehouse will be fully functional before the end of January.
The new warehouse significant increases MRS’s capabilities. Prior to the new facility, MRS had about 90,000 square feet of warehousing. Today the company has a total of over 150,000 square feet located in 4 warehouses. The newest facility not only provides the space for more efficient operations, it also offers important reload opportunities to manufacturers and allows MRS to maintain its practice of keeping 100% of their materials inside. This keeps them clean, dry and protected from the elements from the day they are manufactured, to the day they are use d on the job site.
“This is something we have had in our growth and support plans for a while and we are excited to finally execute them.” said Brian Boyd, president of MRS. “We see a great deal of potential in the Northeast market for our customers and suppliers and we want to make sure we have the necessary infrastructure and are well positioned to support that growth and their needs.”
A special thanks to the Township of Irvington for continuing to work with MRS hand in hand. MRS is proud to be located in Irvington for the last 88 years. With a planned open house in the Spring of 2019, MRS is excited to share its new facility with the industry and welcomes any inquiries to tour the new warehouse.
