Woodgrain Expands with Acquisition of North Carolina Door Shop

Woodgrain has purchased Lowe’s Thomasville Millwork door shop in Lexington, North Carolina. This acquisition increases Woodgrain’s position in the Southeast United States, while further bolstering Woodgrain’s millwork and door manufacturing capabilities and presence within Lowe’s home improvement stores across the Southeast and Mid Atlantic. This marks the second former Lowe’s Millwork door shop acquired by Woodgrain in 2021, with the White House, Tennessee location transferring ownership in July.

Located in central North Carolina, the acquired door shop has been operating since 1986. With the new acquisition, Woodgrain will supply Lowe’s stores with ReliaBilt® interior and Therma-Tru® Benchmark exterior doors across the Southeast and Mid Atlantic.
