Scherer Bros. Lumber Announces Executive Changes

We are proud to share that Mark Scherer, former COO, has been named the President and Chief Operating Officer of Scherer Bros. Lumber Co. We welcome Mark into his newest title and responsibilities as President for our 92-year-old, third-generation family business.

Pete Scherer, former President, welcomes the transition out of his past role as President. He will remain Chairman and CEO.

John Scherer has been elected to serve on our Board of Directors as our fifth Independent (non-management) Director. Former attorney and now retired Minnesota 7th District Court Judge of 17 years, John brings wisdom, great judgement and a strong understanding of family to this role. To support these changes, Rachael Scherer, CFA has proudly retired from her Board and Chairperson position.
