McCoy’s Building Supply recently announced several director promotions as the company continues to grow and expand. John Brown was promoted to Director of Culture and Customer Experience. Trevor Crozier was promoted to Director of Merchandising – Commodities, and Luke Wonder was promoted to Director of Strategic Accounts.

“I’m so thankful John, Luke, and Trevor are eager to contribute more and share their talents with McCoy’s. We’re a stronger company because of their leadership and impact on our team and our customers.” said Meagan McCoy Jones, McCoy’s President and CEO.

McCoy’s is committed to a mentoring culture where employees are always learning, doing, and building relationships. “I see my new role enhancing McCoy’s through a very intentional focus on relationship building, both within our organization and with our customers. I will also support and refine our mentoring culture which sets us apart from other retailers,” said Brown, a 36-year McCoy’s veteran. He spent 17 years as a store manager in Lufkin, TX before becoming regional support manager in 2018.

Along with possessing a strong mentorship culture, the 96-year-old company serves a unique mix of customers ranging from large-scale professional builders and repair/remodelers to ranchers and do-it-yourselfers. The promotions of Crozier and Wonder reflect the company’s focus on those diverse customer segments.

“I am excited to be able to look at how McCoy’s does things through a new lens that will help us identify improved ways to serve our customers. I look forward to adding my experience to the already amazing foundation that has been built,” said Crozier. He is a building supply industry veteran who recently joined McCoy’s after 5 years as a strategic accounts manager at True Value. Additionally, Crozier has had various roles within the lumber and building materials industry including outside sales, purchasing, operations, and many levels of management.

“My new role allows me to focus on programs and processes that will give the pro builders McCoy’s serves an enhanced experience in more areas than we have in the past. In turn, this will allow those customers to be freed up to concentrate on growing their businesses,” said Wonder, who has been at McCoy’s for 12 years, starting in the store as an assistant manager and then working as a commercial sales representative. He had served as strategic accounts manager since 2019.
