Report: Ace Hardware Cancels Spring Convention in Chicago Due to Coronavirus
According to the Chicago Tribune, Ace Hardware Corporation (HQ: Oak Brook, IL), has cancelled their spring conference that was set to take place March 11th – March 14th.
The Chicago Tribune noted that the event “was expected to bring more than 14,000 people to Chicago. It becomes the third event scheduled for McCormick Place that has been canceled over fears of the coronavirus.”

UPDATE: Ace Hardware Corporation has provided this official statement to Blue Book Services, Inc., “The health and safety of our Ace employees, retailers and vendors is and has always been our top priority. Due to growing concerns around the Coronavirus (COVID-19), we have made the difficult decision to cancel the Ace Spring convention next week in Chicago.”
