Report: San Group Bets on ‘High-Value’ Future With New Port Alberni Sawmill
According to a local news report, SanGroup Inc. (HQ: Langley, BC) has started production at their new sawmill in Port Alberni.
The Vancouver Sun reports that on Friday May 29th, 2020, SanGoup “rolled the first log through a brand new sawmill it has built at Port Alberni”. SanGroup CEO Kamal Sanghera stated, “What it means to us is we see a very bright future”. He continued, “We can see the light through the tunnel to how to survive.”
